FDM stands for Fused Deposition Modelling — the most widely used 3D printing technology in the world. A plastic filament (such as PLA, ABS, or PETG) is fed through a heated nozzle, melted, and deposited layer by layer on a build platform to create a three-dimensional object.
The process is fast, affordable, and capable of producing strong, durable parts in a wide range of materials and colours. It is perfect for:
- Prototypes and proof-of-concept models
- Functional mechanical parts
- Decorative items and figurines
- Architectural and educational models
- Custom gifts and personalised objects
At Shree 3D Prints, all our printing is FDM-based, giving you great quality at a reasonable cost.
We print for everyone. Our customers include:
- Individuals & hobbyists — custom prints, collectibles, and creative projects
- Students — models for science projects, architecture submissions, and presentations
- Engineers & product designers — rapid prototyping and functional parts
- Architects — detailed scaled building and site models
- Small businesses — branded items, product components, display pieces
- Gifting & events — personalised keepsakes, trophies, and souvenirs
We serve customers across Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, and ship all over India.

Follow these steps to prepare your 3D file for printing:
- Design your model — use software like Fusion 360, Blender, TinkerCAD, or SolidWorks.
- Export as a supported format — we accept STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, GLB, GLTF, and AMF. STL and 3MF are recommended.
- Check for errors — the mesh must be watertight (no holes, no flipped normals). Tools like Meshmixer or the repair feature in PrusaSlicer can fix common issues.
- Set the correct scale — ensure your model is exported in millimetres at the actual intended size.
- Think about orientation — flat faces print best face-down to reduce supports and improve surface finish.
- Upload and submit — use our quote form to upload the file (max 50 MB). We handle all slicing, supports, and print settings.
Not confident about your file? Tick "I need design help" on the quote form and our team will take care of everything.
Absolutely — small businesses are a big part of what we do. We support Indian small businesses with:
- Product prototyping — test your design before committing to large-scale manufacturing
- Small-batch production — short runs of parts, components, or display items
- Branded merchandise — custom logo items, stands, and promotional pieces
- Replacement parts — produce hard-to-find or discontinued parts on demand
- Point-of-sale displays — custom product holders and retail fixtures
We offer competitive pricing for bulk and recurring orders. Get in touch to discuss a business agreement:
Our pricing is transparent and based on what you actually use:
The exact cost depends on:
- Material — PLA is the most affordable; specialty materials cost more
- Model size & weight — larger models use more filament
- Infill percentage — higher infill = stronger but heavier print = higher cost
- Complexity — models needing significant support structures take more material
The quickest way to get a price is to submit a quote request — our system calculates an instant estimate based on your file.
